Just pimping for the fun of pimping. ^_^ Lyndsey made a new years resolution to post about something that made her happy every day in an effort to...show that life doesn't suck? Or something. ^_^ But it sounded good to me, and when she asked me if she should make a community dedicated to it, I said hells yes and decided to join it as well. I think everyone needs a slice of happy in their life, and it's a good practice, too.

Now, remember that she just made this thing a half hour ago, so it's still a work in progress, but it's still open for business if anyone's curious:

In my random post yesterday, I neglected to mention the thing about work that's really pleased me as of late. I was an art/design major in school, and my job likes to take advantage of that. It's little things, but it really does please me.

Like, I was put in charge of making a sign to advertise that we're carrying school supplies in the vending machine, which is hung up throughout the building now. It's a stupid little sign, but it makes me smile to see my work on display like that.

Currently I'm making a mall type map of the library to put in the online catalogue for patrons. Again, it's just a stupid little map, but thinking that lots of people are going to view this and that it's going to help them makes me happy. ^_^
