My mother is being adorable.
My family, my sister and I in particular, are really into Animal Crossing. The game has the equivalent of four save slots, so four people can have a game. On the new one for the Wii, my sister and I have a game, our one brother has a game, and then we had an empty slot. We were thinking of using that slot for our own nefarious purposes, but before that asked if anyone else in the house wanted it.
My brother said no, my father said no...my mom was curious. She'd never played this game before so she started asking questions and eventually took the slot. Now she and my father play every day. Mostly because they're fond of fishing, but they're so cute to listen to, especially when they're hating on the neighbors. ^_^
So my mom just woke me up to ask me if I'd played yesterday and if I'd watered her turnips (this is an in game thing), which I hadn't, so she was being pouty about them being dead maybe, and then went on to whine that she couldn't get the Wii to work. I did some troubleshooting with her, but when that failed, told her that she'd just have to talk to my sister, who knows more about these things. She made the poutiest noise ever and left. I feel like I just delt with a five year old. ^_^ I should go check on them....
