FINALLY finished that damned list. :P *kicks it* No, is good. There were so many interesting things written that I never even picked up on at the time. This morning I read a piece by Goblover that just blew me away. Very dark and powerful, and I totally need to go find more of her work.

So here are my thoughts.

I'm thinking we should take out the "best portrayal of Brad" one. He's still the fifth most popular, but he's just barely above Chip, and I think we've got too many awards as it is, so I'd rather remove him than add Chip. We still have the "best portrayal of..." award, after all.

I'm thinking of taking out the "non-con, crossover, au" one, too. Just because I don't think we've had enough of any of those to really justify it this year. Maybe the "I'm in the mood for love" award, too. I'm also thinking we should add a "best het" category because there was a slew of it in the fall.

Anyone have any thoughts or ideas?

You know, I could totally get rid of the fade to black one. That's not usually an issue anyway. Mood for Love I still think we should ditch because while I know it's different from best sex scene, it is very similar. Cue the Orchestra I think we should keep. It does let the author know that their story is very well liked, after all, and might make them finish it. But the description should probably be updated for clarification.
