I love the Ryan's Wife hoedown. ^_^ I would love to know what was going through Colin's head when he decided to do that. And the Arctic Tern was on tonight, too. AND! the Richard Simmons episode is on tomorrow. ^_________^ *hugs squishy happy slashy Whose Line*

I know! Much Brad/Wayne slashyness, too. *pouts* I know of no one else who likes Brad/Wayne. *sobs*

From: [identity profile] clayangel.livejournal.com

Yeah, I can't say I'm much of a fan, but the way Brad stood up for Wayne during the hoedown was absolutely adorable. ^_^ I did my share of sqeeing.

From: [identity profile] asuka14.livejournal.com

*laughs* Yeah, that was cute. I admit to slight sqeeing, too.

Aside from Ryan/Colin, what other pairings do you like? It'd be interesting to write a story with you, I think.

*wiggles eyebrows*

From: [identity profile] clayangel.livejournal.com

I do so like cowriting stories. ^_^ My two favorite couples are Colin/Ryan and Greg/Ryan. Other than that, I really only have a passing fancy for any other particular couple. Except maybe Drew/Wayne. That doesn't mean I'm not going to write other pairings; I've written some strange ones before and I know I'll do more. ^_^ Mostly it means I won't come back to them time and again. Part of the fun of writing is taking something you might not necessarily see as plausible and making it so. So.... what I guess I'm trying to say is I'll pretty much write any couple. ^_^

From: [identity profile] asuka14.livejournal.com

To add on to the below...

I've been flirting around with the idea of writing a story using "Uninvited" by Alanis Morissette. Someone, I don't remember who, but I want to say Indy, made a Drew/Wayne video using that song about a month or so ago now and the plot bunny hasn't left my head ever since. I even bought the song on iTunes. O_o

You game?

From: [identity profile] clayangel.livejournal.com

A Drew/Wayne story? ^_^ Because I have been wanting to write one.... I could do that.

From: [identity profile] asuka14.livejournal.com

Yup! Well, we could make it Drew/Wayne and Ryan/Colin, if you want. Or... Greg/Ryan. Whatever other pairing you may fancy.

So, we're game, then? *holds out a hand* We officially in the cowriting department?

From: [identity profile] asuka14.livejournal.com

*laughs* I absolutely loved that video, and the song's kick-ass, too. 1000 points!

From: [identity profile] asuka14.livejournal.com

Yes we are. :) It's called "Uninvited" and chapter four is currently being written. It'll be posted when all's said an' done.

From: [identity profile] asuka14.livejournal.com

*laughs* So are we. It's been quite the hassle, at times, to plot an' plan an' what not.

But I'll talk with Clay an' make sure that we credit you! Your video was the inspiration.

From: [identity profile] clayangel.livejournal.com

It's probably not what you're thinking, actually. There is Drew/Wayne, but it's.... well, I don't want to spoil it. ^_^ But it is coming out quite good. I just hope people read it....

And yes, you'll so get muse credit. ^_^

Richard Simmons is tomorrow? OMG love! And the Ryan's wife hoedown was funny, but I got the feeling Ryan was not at all pleased about it. Maybe that's why Colin turned it around like that, put the focus on him instead of Ryan or his wife.

From: [identity profile] clayangel.livejournal.com

No, Ryan didn't look pleased. And putting Colin's motives like that is rather sweet. ^_^

From: [identity profile] kalimyre.livejournal.com

I think Colin gets a kick out of playing up the gay thing; I actually got to chat with him once on an online group thing on his birthday, and he mentioned he'd seen some of the stories. (Not mine specifically, but he was aware of fanfic in general) He also knew what slash was. I about died of squee.

From: [identity profile] clayangel.livejournal.com

Did he mention his thoughts on the stories? I imagine it might be a little disturbing.... or flattering... or both.... But yeah, if he knows about that, it would make sense to play up the gay thing solely for the fans. ^_^

From: [identity profile] kalimyre.livejournal.com

As I remember, he said they were okay, a little slashy but not bad. I gibbered a bit in surprise about him knowing what slash was, and then I think I apologized for the whole RPS thing, but he was calm about it. I think he just takes it in stride. He's secure enough to find it funny.

From: [identity profile] clayangel.livejournal.com

Also, you haven't seen the 7th season, have you? Because there was a great episode in there where the running gag started with Ryan getting the quirk "Smart mouthed brat who's been told never to lick the metal plate in Colin's head in winter" in Let's Make a Date. ^_^

From: [identity profile] kalimyre.livejournal.com

I haven't seen most of the newer episodes, and I so want to! I've seen a tiny clip where Colin licks Ryan's head, or his hair, rather, but I don't know the story around it. I've been trying to download all the clips I can find, but they're tough to come by.

From: [identity profile] kalimyre.livejournal.com

If I want it?

As if this is in question.

Yes, please! Much love and cookies for fantabulous file sharing. *g*

you need to do the whole "right click/save as" thing

From: [identity profile] kalimyre.livejournal.com

Oh, you rock so much. I'm doing the happy chair dance and watching the little download progress bar with growing glee. Yay! *bounces*

From: [identity profile] kalimyre.livejournal.com

May I share this link with one other person on my flist? I'll ask her to right click and save as. I tried reuploading through yousendit and it didn't work. *pouts* I'd like to share the Ry/Col love but my computer is sadly wussy and can't quite accomplish the task.

From: [identity profile] clayangel.livejournal.com

Go right ahead. ^_^ I tried uploading it through yousendit first, actually, but it wasn't working/was taking too long. It's a great episode, isn't it?

From: [identity profile] kalimyre.livejournal.com

It's a totally fabulous episode. I was watching on the computer with my headphones on because hubby was in the same room watching TV, and he kept turning around and asking what the hell was so funny and did I really need to shriek like that?

I really needed to.

And thanks for the sharing of linkage!

From: [identity profile] lorenafire.livejournal.com

I love the arctic tern almost as much as I love animal porn, you know?

*pauses to contemplate how wrong that sounds*

I think it's interesting that all the "classic" moments are ones where Colin is so frickin' random Ryan totally loses control of himself and dies. You know? The cat, animal porn, the arctic tern, tapioca...I could go on, but you know what I'm talking about.

I'm babbling. I shall cease.

From: [identity profile] clayangel.livejournal.com

Colin is just so great. ^_^ I couldn't imagine Whose Line without him. And I was thinking about the barometer thing, too. Have you noticed that Ryan never seems to like his own Scenes From a Hat attempts unless it makes Colin laugh?

From: [identity profile] lorenafire.livejournal.com

Yes! I have. I thought I was crazy the first time I started noticing stuff like that, but I have a friend who works for an improv theater in downtown Houston and she was telling me how her...I guess the word is "coach"...used the barometer analogy in a run-through once.

Ryan and Colin seem like a perfect example, though, because they both constantly look over at each other during games. And you're totally right about SFAH - Ryan's his own worst critic.

From: [identity profile] leatharegee.livejournal.com

I've often wondered that myself...about that hoedown...especially Colin's little head gesture afterwords. ^_^

From: [identity profile] clayangel.livejournal.com

He seemed... proud of himself? And definitely curious as to Ryan's reactions. I haven't gotten to study that one yet... (and doesn't that sound just a little obsessive? ^_^;) because they don't seem to play it a lot and I have no idea where my tape of it is... and it's not on my computer. But it's that little head gesture at the end that really makes me wonder.

From: [identity profile] leatharegee.livejournal.com

I have it on my other computer if you want me to send it to you. ^_^ I know I've studied it many a time, and I just can't figure out quite what Colin's gesturing. It looks like a 'challenge' of sorts, but it also seems like it means something *more* because its so unlike Colin to do that. :P

From: [identity profile] lorenafire.livejournal.com

I think I might buy Kalimyre's explanation - Ryan *did* look a little put-out when Drew said the topic, and not just in expectation of the puns.

At the same time, Colin was unusually pumped at the end of his verse - hmmm.

I actually started a fic about this awhile ago and put it aside. I may be forced to renew it...*smiles evilly*

From: [identity profile] lorenafire.livejournal.com

You know I adore everything you write.

You know it's mutual, m'dear.

*chuckles*

The Whose Line fandom is a mutual admiration society, you ever notice that? We all randomly declare undying love for one another. I find it entertaining.

From: [identity profile] clayangel.livejournal.com

I've tried emailing you twice, but it keeps getting sent back to me. Hm.

From: [identity profile] clayangel.livejournal.com

Ooh... I could stand to have that on my computer. ^_^ I would love to study it.

From: [identity profile] clayangel.livejournal.com

Thank you so much. ^__________^ After looking at it a couple more times, I'm wondering if he's responding to a look Ryan is giving him...?

From: [identity profile] leatharegee.livejournal.com

I did consider that, because its not the kind of face you would make for no reason...also, the look on Ryan's face when it cuts back to him seemed like faux!exasperated, but in an amused way (i think thats the best way to describe it...? I can't think of the right word) like he wasn't expecting it, but was glad, and amused, but embarassed and trying to remember his own verse...it was alot of things. Does that make sense?
