Rereading all of LJ Smith's books (since I'm finished the new ones, I'm going back and rereading Dark Visions, which was the first series of hers I ever read) has something on my mind.
It's just so cool to think that long before we even met, Kat and I were doing the same thing at the same time. We were both reading these books, both going to the book stores desperately searching for Strange Fate. We lived an hour and a half away from each other, never met, never had reason to, didn't have similar experiences growing up or anything like that. But we both were obsessed with this author. And to meet years after the fact and become such good friends and to know that, even back before we met, we would have had something to bond over, is just awesome in my mind.
