Blergh

I'm actually considering giving up on NaNo this year, which really pisses me off. I've got about 38,000 words and plenty of time to finish, but I've also been fighting a nasty ear infection since Saturday, which means I've got shit done in that time, and it's not like I feel like writing now or tomorrow or even the day after that. So, assuming I'm feeling better by Saturday, that leaves me with 12,000 words to write in 3 days, and I just don't think I can do it. *sighs* Fucking ear infection.

And the damn thing scared me half to death at 2 a.m. this morning when I realized I'd lost about 90% of my hearing in that ear. It came back a little then went away again, and I'm pretty sure it's just due to fluid in the ear and my hearing should be fine by the time this thing's done, but the whole thing has been a draining, excruciatingly painful experience and I just want to cut my ear off and say mean things to it. :P

Other than that, however, I'm doing rather well. ^_^

Tangrams just came out! Woot! Yay for my sad little video game company! I'm quite excited for us to actually have a published game, but I'll be even more excited when the one we're working on now comes out due to how much work I've done on it.

Also, I've become all kinds of addicted to these two Facebook Apps: Cafe World and Farmville. Sucking the life out of me, they are, but I love seeing my crops are sparkly with fertilizer. ^_^

Well, time to put more death drops in my ear...
