First, thoughts on KH2. Well it's gorgeous, but we all knew that. The first 3 hours or so are played from a completely different character's point of view, and at first you're all "Wait... where's Sora... where's Riku... I miss them..." And then you finally get around to Sora and find that you've gotten far too attached to Roxas. Oh, I miss him. He was super cute, and that conversation with Hayner after the first Struggle match? So an offer for felatio. "I'll make you happy..." *smirks*
So yeah, since I'm a hopelessly romantic fangirl, I tend to hook people up. So I was all about the Roxas/Hayner versus Roxas/Axel. They both have their good points, but I'm going to go with Hayner as Roxas' true love. And, yes, I'm ignoring the facts surrounding all three of those people. But Sora cried. So there was all kinds of love for Hayner there. Come on, people. Undeniable.
And speaking of all that, that plot got so incredibly confusing. I have no idea what, exactly, is going on. So many questions. *shakes head* And I can't see any more for a long, long time. Maybe a bit this weekend, but still.
And my God, Yen Sid is one creepy fuck. But yeah. *bounces* I can't wait to see more of that. AND! Lynn Flewelling's new book is set to come out this July, so that makes me super happy, too. ^___^
And yes, I promised a song: Nick Lachey - What's Left of Me. (and yes, that's an MP3; you know the drill)
Okay, I know it's Nick Lachey, but here me out. First, he's not so bad. If memory serves me, he sang Right Here Waiting with Richard Marx on Ellen once, and that gives him some credit. And then he was all kinds of gay for Richard while they were singing, too, so that gives him another point. Plus... this song just kind of rocks. It's a (surprise!) Greg song to me. I think we all know who I like to pair Greg with, but the pairing doesn't really matter. I like Greg because he's bitter and cynical and, in my opinion, a little bit broken, and this song really gets that. (LYRICS)
