Right, so I'm supposed to be working on the archive, but Spifferific (which is my personal site, for those who don't know, and yes, there IS a reason I never talk about it) had the most horrid layout I'd ever conceived of in my life, so I had to fix that first. So, right now doing more html will make me want to shoot myself. ^_^ No, I actually love doing html (because remember I am a big dork) but I need a break. But, yes, it's reasonably updated. So, Kat, if you want to read stories in their entirety without searching through LJ, you can find them there.
I also watched half of Serenity this evening, but then the table scene was over and I decided I had better things to do. I found some more dialogue to twist around though. Hell, this doesn't even need much twisting:
Kaylee to Mal about Simon: "You could have made him family instead of keeping him from seeing I was even there."
or something along those line. If that's not her way of say "I know you've been fucking him," I don't know what is. ^_^
Also, I started playing Dragon Quest 8 today. I didn't remember this, but Karen told me that Dragon Warrior 1 was actually my first RPG, before the first Final Fantasy even. There's something about the Dragon Quest series that is just fundamentally better than Final Fantasy. I can't name exactly what it is, but it's something in the game play that's just better, more sensical. So, yes, I like it. ^_^ They've always had fantasic music as well. Though at this point I think my love of things like that are more nostalgia than anything. Oh, and Slimes. I mean, how can you not love Slimes?
