So, I love rough drafts of things. I love to see the changes and the thought processes. I love to see something as simple as handwriting. I think everyone knows that I do my writing by hand before I type things up, and I decided I'd scan a couple pages of random things just for the hell of it.

I wanted to scan some of Rose Colored Glasses, but I can't find it in my massive box o notebooks. So I scanned a page of Love & Sex, a page of Philadelphia (that's a Harry Potter story for those of you who didn't know me then), a page of something I wrote last month and have yet to post and...and randomly a page of precalculus notes from my freshman year of college. That last one is solely to make Lyndsey cringe. ^_~

Page from Chapter 6 of Philadelphia (~December of 04, I think)

Page from Chapter 2 of Love and Sex (Summer of 05)

Page from unposted story. (one of Sue's challenges, 5/23/07)

Pre-Calculus! (Fall 1999) ^_^

I'd really like to find RCG because for all I know there might be entire pages scrapped that people might be interested in seeing. When I found L&S, there were two pages with big Xs through them. I considered scanning those pages, but...I didn't. ^_^ I'll have to keep looking I guess, for my own curiosity if nothing else.

It makes me cringe and my eyes bleed and my insides shrivel and I die a lot on everything. :(

It was fun at the time. ^_^ I usually rather enjoyed doing my math homework.

*pouts* But math is simple and logical. I told you it was easy because you only had to remember one formula and then apply it to everything you did.

That's so cool, seeing handwritten drafts. It makes the whole process seem more...intimate, somehow, you know? I really enjoyed looking over these. Makes me wish I could still write with my hands.

It makes the whole process seem more...intimate, somehow, you know? -- Yeah, I know. That's why I write like that. I think I get more into the story telling process that way.
