The kind and magnanimous Merit has scanned many, many pictures for Kat, so I stole them all and started to make icons. ^_^ So yes, this is mostly for Kat.

Here there be icons )

Right, so just got back from seeing RENT, and yes, it's fantabulous. ^___^ Mark is my kind of hot. I think I got about 20 seconds into the first song before I decided I had to see it again.

I went with Laurent and her posse to a quaint little theatre in Philly, which would have been cooler if they weren't some of the rudest movie goers I've ever met. Laurent felt the need to check the time on her phone every half hour, her friends to the other side of me were talking the whole time and one of them actually took a call in the middle of the movie. Which, knowing what the call ended up being, I can't blame her, but still. :P

Anyway, yes, fabulous movie. I LOVED Maureen & Joanna's song. I hated Maureen until that moment, when she pretty much explained herself, but God, that was a fun song. ^_^ And that rent song (which is probably named Rent...) was totally awesome, too. I was incredibly disappointed in the Angel/Tom song, though. Far too sappy for my tastes. Oh, and La Vie Bohemme was mad cool as well. Mostly for sexy, twisting Mark and the "We're sisters." "Sisters?" "We're close." *smirk* I'm definitely going to see it again, though. Oh, and the tango! How could I forget about the tango? That was so awesome. ^___^ I found the Roger/Mimi romance really boring for the most part. I like their first song and the one where she came in the window, but when they actually hooked up they got uninteresting. Not a fan of that kind of plot, I guess. And when Roger came back from his romp in the desert...? Mark should have greeted him with a kiss instead of just a hug. ^_~ That would have been nice, but no, I get that they're the straight guys.
