Just a post so I can have a record of these in my own journal. Like usual, story links lead to member-locked comm entries.

Title: Myth, Fiction and Philosophy
Author: Clay
Characters/Pairings:Jeff/Chip, Colin
Rating: NC-17
Summary: Jeff really hates androids, but Colin's new model might just make him change his mind...
Word Count: ~4,000
Author's Notes: Trick or Treat for Sungreen! ^_^ Happy Halloween! Have some porn!

Title: On the Subject of Optimism
Author: Clay
Characters/Pairings:Jeff/unnamed male (Chip), unrequited Jonathan/Jeff
Rating: R
Summary: Jonathan and Jeff had been nearly inseparable as children. When they reached adulthood, however, they began to grow further and further apart, but Jonathan has a plan to stop it.
Word Count: ~3,800
Author's Notes: Trick or Treat for Greenforgreen and the second story in my little AI universe. I think that Jonathan is well, kind of vastly out of character here. ^_^ But I tried to tie in known things about him to root him to his original persona. I don't know how successful that was, but I had too much fun with him to be horribly concerned over it.

Title: The Central Property of Humans
Author: Clay
Characters/Pairings: Ryan/Colin, OMC
Rating: R
Summary: Acclaimed physicist Colin Mochrie attends an awards dinner in his name, but awards are the farthest thing from his mind.
Word Count: ~4,400
Author's Notes: Trick or Treat for Draconica_Nova! The third and last story (for now) in my little AI universe. :) Colin fought me tooth an nail on this one, trying to lead it in one direction where I wanted to go a completely different way. In the end, he won, but I'm pleased with the results.

Title: Don't You Wanna Stay
Song by: Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson
Pairing: Jeff/Chip

I haven't vidded in ages, but from the moment I first heard this song, I just needed to make it into a music video, and I couldn't stop till I was done. ^_^ It's nothing fancy, but it makes me smile, and that's all I was really going for.

Okay, I'm going to try and host it on youtube, but the last place I hosted it, it literally lasted about 2 minutes before it was gone, so I don't have high hopes.

Title: Haunted
Artist: Me!
Characters/Pairings: Colin, with a hint of Ryan
Rating: G
A/N: This is a scene from that Ryan/Colin story I started last November and am still working on...very, very slowly apparently. :P But yeah, this is an early scene, and it's one that's stuck with me over the months. It's a pensive Colin riding behind Ryan on a motorcycle.

It's getting dark, and it's all too quiet, and I can't trust anything now... )

I wanted to take my love of doing hay bale pixel art on Farmville and translate it into a little fan art! ^_^ This is rated G, totally work safe. It's taken from an Improvaganza screen cap, and the reason I have it in different sizes is that technically this image would only be about 70 pixels by 70 pixels, so I wanted to show both the detail and what the image should actually look like.

Rated G; totally worksafe )

Woo!

No, I just haven't posted in nearly two weeks, so I figured it was time. Still obsessed with Megamind. ^_^

Also, season finale of Psych was tonight. It was awesome, but I'm still annoyed over how the fandom doesn't seem to like any episode unless there's copious amounts of slash in it. *rolls eyes* I'd leave, but I had this awesome Shawn/Lassie dream the other night that makes me want to write a story in that fandom for the first time ever. As far as canon is going, though, I really love Shawn/Juliet now that they've finally hooked up. She slapped him down hard tonight. It was quite impressive. And I just very much enjoy their dynamic. Not just more than the last couple of seasons, when their courtship was tedious at the best of times, but more than any other point in the series. Honestly, the whole of season 5.5 has been really good and a breath of fresh air in what had become a stale and often ridiculous show. It also doesn't hurt that James wrote/directed half of season 5.5. I always love his work.

Continuing to love TGWTG. Spoony is fucking awesome. And I'm going to MAGFest! ^_^ It's a music, film and games festival going on next month in VA. A whole bunch of the TGWTG people are going to be there, including Spoony and Luke. This pleases me. Ooh, recently found a new guy who does reviews of horribly bad fanfiction. *wipes away tears of joy* It just makes me so happy.... I wonder if he's going to be there. I wish I had a full list of the TGWTG people who were going. It seems to be quite a bit. Kat, Karen and Adrian will be joining me in this endeavor. Much fun shall be had.

There are also curious things happening with my job right now, but it's too early to say if this is good news, bad news or...no news.

Currently, however, I'm just gearing up for the awards, though, and after the holidays I need to get back to writing my current WL story. Er...after the awards, rather. I've barely written it since November, but I'm just so busy. :P Between IO and making presents, I'm swamped. But in a good way. :)

But yay, Christmas soon. ^__^ I love giving people presents, and I got some interesting ones to give this year. Can't wait to see the kinds of reactions they get. Heh heh heh.... I'm normally not that excited about Christmas, but this year I really am. I get to exchange presents with Kat tomorrow, and I'm just really looking forward to enjoying the time with my family.

Harry Potter—*shakes fist at Indy* Damn you for giving me all those good recs and completely distracting me. :P I have got to stop reading and finish my damn NaNo story!! But it has also given me the urge, once the new year starts, to finally finish the last Harry Potter story I was writing before I left the fandom in early 2005. It wasn't anything special—just another post-Hogwarts H/D story, which was always my favorite, but it would be nice to get it out there. It's been finished, actually, for 6 years. It's just not typed up. And what is typed has the most abysmal grammar you'll ever see. :P It was thoroughly rejected the one time I tried to submit it to an archive. But hopefully I'll finally just get it up and out of my system.

Oh, and dude. The movie, of course. I fucking LOVED it. It stayed so surprisingly faithful to canon, which, in retrospect, is probably why they split it into two movies, but it was just great. Lucius was my favorite part, by far. He was so much fun to watch, and oh, I can not wait for the last installment. It's going to fucking rock. And Harry's looking pretty good with the stubble, though he never needs to take his shirt off again. Ever.

Community—WHY DOES NO ONE WATCH THIS SHOW? Kat—do you know what they did in the last episode? Do you? No, of course not. Well, there were two plots. One where there was a huge conspiracy theory that ended in a (only Karen and Emma going to understand this) 'Paper Clip'-esque show down. The other was where they were building a MASSIVE pillow and blanket fort. It was its own city by the end of the episode. How does that not sound so frickin' awesome? And the cast is just amazing. It's my happy place, that show. It really is. —AND it airs in both England and Australia. So there. NO EXCUSES!

Whose Line—You know, I'm just going to have to write a Wayne/Jonathan fic, I really am. They are so friggin' cute together. But Wayne breaks my heart every time he congratulates people for being married for lengths of time on LMaD. His earnestness makes me feel like he's still hurting over his divorce...not that I don't know he wasn't the one to initiate it, but I'm going to err on his side for the hell of it. :P But back to slash land...they're just so cute. And oh...you know, I don't even remember what it was, but I was watching it this morning, and Wayne said something that just made me NEED to do something about that pairing. I'd hook them up in my NaNo story, but there's enough going on there. :P That story is a monter, I swear. A lovely, fun as hell monster, but a monster nonetheless.

Psych—do I even want to get into this? :P The fandom frustrates me, and I need to just get the hell out and stay out, but I'm really happy with the show right now. It's picking up after sucking hard core for so long. Let's just cross our fingers and hope it stays this way. The upcoming season looks promising, at least.

White Collar—I have nothing to say about this except to squee about the fact that we get more soon. ^__^ Oh! And Kat, I didn't realize this on the first watch, but in Prisoner's Dilemma, which Lyndsey and I were watching the other day, it's mentioned that Peter and Elizabeth have a safe word. ^_^ Kinky.
Yesterday's episode was so great. ^_^ They did a couple little improv scenes. They were being so adorable, as usual, making each other crack up in the second one. Shipping them so hard right now. :)

TPiR seems to be going back and forth on Jeff and Brad episodes. Brad perked up after the first episode, though, oddly, he was booed? yesterday. I still like Jeff better as an announcer, but that might be my own bias. Brad's announcer voice makes me want to claw my own ears off a little.

Drew's interview on Craig Ferguson was great. ^_^ Thanks for posting that, Julie. I don't care how much of as asshole sentiment it was, I thought the "I got the jist of it" was fucking hilarious. Probably because I'm the same way.

Still majorly loving Community. I heart that show so hard. I think it caters to a pretty specific market, though. It does seem to border on bad taste quite a bit...maybe not even border. ^_^ But let's face it, I'm not too into sentimental bullshit, and Community is about a bunch of assholes. But lovable ones. Unlike Two and a Half men, which is completely unlovable assholes. I still don't understand how that show is still on the air. I really never need to spend extended periods of time with any hardcore fans of Two and a Half men. I feel like we'd kill each other halfway through any conversation we tried to have. (Okay, so apparently not, but I STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND! SOMEONE EXPLAIN THE APPEAL TO ME!!) But yeah, I love Dan Harmon. He always showed himself to be an open minded if more than a little perverted with his Channel 101 shows, and that continues to shine through in Community. It's really the one show that I find myself anxiously awaiting every week. That and Chopped. God, I love Chopped.

Let's make this more substantial. I'm finally feeling better. Woo! And the migraine is gone. Life is good. I had dollar store fun today, and there will likely be power washing fun come Friday, birthday and game trading fun on Saturday and then Fright Fest for Sunday. ^__^ Good times. But does this mean we're not getting Japanese on Friday? :< Dilemma. Well, not really, but still dilemma.
So after [livejournal.com profile] shewolfsami said that she had, in fact, gotten Jeff for the past two days, I decided to check this out. I went over to tvguide.com, looked up the show and found videos. The first two were the exact same shows I've been seeing for the past two days, but the third is listed as "price is right B," also from 10/5. And listening to just the first couple of minutes, oh, that's definitely Jeff. (Who, in my opinion, does NOT have the right kind of voice for this. He constantly sounds just a little bit sarcastic.)

[edit] Decided to watch one of the episodes online rather than the one on tv today (I checked, no Jeff for us again) and I do find something else interesting. I was noticing over the past couple of days how Drew seems more tame than when he first took over the show, but in this episode with Jeff, he's definitely got an attitude again. I wonder if there's a connection there.

Yes, he's definitely far more playful with Jeff around. In the 10/4 B episode, he broke every item in the Grand Game and then stuck a piece of cardboard to his forehead. I shit you not.

So there's two different shows? Does this mean that we're not getting the ones with Jeff on the east coast at all? I mean, we can watch it online yeah, but why aren't we getting it on tv? :(

Wayne and Jon continue to be adorable, though. And the chick on that show is pretty damn sassy, herself. I like her. ^_^
Hee. I really love this show. ^_^

Wayne is adorable. You can really tell he's having fun, and he has Jonathan Mangum as his sidekick!

We all know Jon, right? Was Drew's boss in the last couple of seasons of DCS, was on Green Screen and was Wayne's friend before Whose Line not to mention the guy he's been touring with for years? No? Not really?

They are so adorable together. Wayne's whole demeanor changes when he's talking to Jonathan. They give each other these little smiles, and he's joking with Jon and teasing him. I've shipped these two for ages. They were like this in Wayne's live show, too, and they're just so much fun to watch.

As for Price is Right, Jeff is supposed to be on today? Well, he was supposed to be on yesterday, but it didn't look like/sound like him to me, and I think I'd recognize Jeff. Anyway, I'll edit this post when it comes on.

[edit] NOPE! Still not Jeff. JD Roberto.

Decided to call out sick today and continue to rest. My cold is mostly gone, but I'm still lethargic and congested and sore throaty from time to time.

Anyway, I stayed home and watched the Price is Right for the first time in forevers. Yeah, getting used to skinny Drew is going to take some time. He kept making expressions, and I was all "okay, that's Drew's expression, but whose face is it on!?" I'll get used to it eventually.

And speaking of Drew, apparently he was Community last Thursday? Haven't gotten to see it yet. I loves Community. :) It caters to my weird sense of humor. My brother and I have been catching up on the last season on DVD. I watched the end of it on TV last spring, but I never saw the beginning. But yeah, I'm a Dan Harmon fan from his Channel 101 stuff, which, if you haven't seen it, definitely...pushed the envelope, to put it lightly. But yeah. So there's that.

And apparently Wayne is hosting Let's Make Deal which airs before Price is Right? Caught the end of it today. Maybe I'll watch it tomorrow...if I remember.

But speaking of Price is Right, both Jeff and Brad are trying out for the announcer part. Now, I can't see this impeding Jeff's touring but so much, but Brad and Colin tour all the frickin' time, yeah? Does this mean that they're planning on stopping touring soon?

Anyhoo, I spent the rest of the day cleaning my closet! Well, some of it. I ended up throwing out every single VHS tape I owned! I filled up an entire trash bag full of them. And I'm talking one of those big, 30 gallon ones. Some of them I have on DVD, some I don't know why I owned in the first place, and the rest I threw up on my amazon wishlist so I remember that I want them back eventually.

I keep a large box of my old sketchbooks and notebooks in the closet, and I moved these to the (better) box that the VHS tapes had been in. Of course I had to look through them, and it's always fun to run across the older stuff I've done. ^___^ Including things that I still need to type and post! :P

And lastly, I found the two copies of Jane White is Sick and Twisted I own. I obviously don't need two copies. Does anyone want my second? Been called. Sorry!
I saw these at work, scanned them, and I'm putting them up in case anyone wants to take a look. These are from today's Philadephia Inquirer, all in .pdf format:

For the Stephen Colbert fans on my f-list: An article about him going to Congress

For the Whose Line peeps: Another article on Drew's weight loss. It's more in depth and personal than we've gotten so far (talking about his family in a way that I, at least, have never seen before) and has new pictures. Including one from his high school prom. ^_^

Title: Harlequin
Author: Clay
Pairings: Chip/Jeff/Greg and all subsequent pairings within, mention of Ryan/Greg and Ryan/Colin
Rating: R-ish
Summary: Greg’s his past, Chip’s his future, and Jeff’s presently stuck between them. ^_^ Haha! A bad summary AND a play on words. You lucky people.
Author’s Notes: This is Cae’s prize for the “In the Style of” contest. ^_^ Enjoy! Betaed by Lyndsey.
Word Count: 6,555

(Greg casually lay a hand on the top edge of Chip’s towel, his fingers brushing the smooth skin along his hip...)
I wanted to wait to post this after I was finished Cae's story, but I've hit a bit of writer's block with that one, and this is already finished, so I'm going to go ahead and post this so I can stop worrying about it. :)

Pairing: Ryan/Colin
Rating: PG
A/N: She requested "Colin/Ryan, and they're both sitting on the edge of a bathtub. Because Ryan's been in a bit of a scrape, and Colin's tending to his wounds and cleaning the blood off his face. Optional topless, buff!Ryan."
A/N 2: I have to apologize if the coloring is a little weird. You know how sometimes you set out to do something and then your muse prods you in the back of the neck and goes "Hey, hey do this instead!" and you're all "Are...are you sure...?" and it's all "Yeah....trust me...." so you do it? This was one of those cases. Don't get me wrong, I like the result; I'm just afraid it's a little weird. :) I hope you like it!

Anyone want to help me with a story? I brought it up to Gracie, but she's not interested, and it made me think that maybe I really could use a hand. It's Jeff/Chip, kind of a love/hate thing going on. And Greg makes a bet with Chip that could have dire consequences if he loses. To give more details would ruin the plot, so I'd only want to divulge it to someone seriously considering. I seem to have about two chapters, and then I hit a wall. So anyone want to write it with me, round robin style? Or just take it off my hands?

I have this idea for a story. It's a very vague idea based around the Rube Goldberg machine, or just a chain reaction kind of thing, but I have no idea what pairing to use. What (Whose Line) pairing would you want to see me write? I'm not discounting any particular pairings, but there are some that I know I wouldn't want to do, but I need to figure out the pairing before I figure out the way the story would work, and I just can't think of one. Or a time period. No idea.

And no, Kat, I'm not doing Jeff/Jeff/Jeff. :)

Title: Dress to Kill
Author: Clay
Pairing: Greg/Eddie Izzard
Rating: PG-13? There's some cursing and sexual implications, but nothing overt.
Summary: Fed up with the usual, Greg goes looking for something different.
Author's Notes: This is for PDGlyph who wanted: "UK era Greg/Eddy Izzard where Greg finds Eddy's genderbending dress more than interesting, if you catch my drift. There doesn't need to be graphic sex, but some steamy cat and mouse would be loverly :D" I tried my damndest, but damn, it's hard to write Eddie. ^_^ Oh, and there's a tiny little Lost reference in there to amuse myself.

(Light filtered through the amber liquid, coloring the polished mahogany counter a warm, golden yellow.)
Apologies to anyone on my f-list who's sick of me. And I haven't gotten around to cross posting yet!

Title: Horse and Carriage
Pairing: Greg/Jeff, background Greg/Jen
Rating: PG-13, I suppose.
Summary/Author's notes: Jeff's tired of waiting. Kind of dark and strange. Completely unbetaed.
